Hearty greetings to all
I am loving the cooler weather and the beginning of ‘comfort food’ season. After 9 events in 8 weeks and the agony of staging the house for sale (model home stuff – who can live like that) Jim managed to make a fabulous soup with squash from our garden, delish! Me, well I am playing catch up and re-grouping which has been a pretty strict task master. The 2016 show schedule has been full of obstacles to overcome but I think we are in the home stretch. Keep an eye on the website for details. This brings me to a question – are you checking what is going on from our website home page? I have discovered many are. On the website, www.dolls4all.com, each show has it’s own page (under Doll & Teddy Bear Events) with lots of information on what’s happening, and what’s changing in 2016. I work on the pages every week, so the latest news will be there.
November finds us travelling to the Pleasanton, CA show. This a must-see event you will not want to miss. Not only is it an awesome show and sale, but it is the perfect opportunity for Christmas shopping. As an added plus, the train show will be in the next building – so bring hubby – he’ll have plenty to do.
Saturday November 21, 2015 9:30AM to 3:30PM
Alameda County Fairgrounds Building C
Bernal Ave. @ Valley Rd
This year the show will have a Holiday theme. I am sure you can find something for everyone on your shopping list, including you! We’ll have doll stringing available and you can bring 2 of your mystery dolls or teddy bears for identification. Antiques will not be in short supply and if you like newer fashion dolls, you will be pleased to see a new collection that I just picked up.

I get calls and emails every week wanting information on how to sell dolls and teddy bears. My first advice is to participate in a show. I can guarantee that it is a super fun thing to do. For information about shows in your area, DollShowUSA is the best resource. My second advice to to take a look at the free online listing service available through the DollSaleMarketplace.
Happy hunting for your next treasure! Dorothy
